We are pleased to inform the general public that Leatherback's GBP services are now fully restored and operational, effective immediately. Following a temporary pause of GBP deposit functionality implemented while Leatherback completed a regulatory process with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), all GBP account features have been reinstated in full.
Effective immediately, customers can now:
- Add new funds to their GBP account
- Receive incoming GBP payments
- Continue sending, converting, and withdrawing funds as normal
For customers who retained funds in their GBP accounts during the suspension period, we wish to clarify that your money remained fully secure throughout. No changes were made to your account, and the pause applied solely to the receipt of new deposits. All other account functionality continued uninterrupted. Customers who withdrew funds during this period are welcome to re-deposit and resume normal operations at their convenience.
